You’ve been in a house and gone to a room with the T.V in it, and you never noticed that the couches are pointing towards in it. It screams its purpose that exist, the comfort and entertainment. Youtubers also try to drive bottom up attention, they design their thumbnails and titles to capture your attention; Unexpectedly to get you to capture your attention unexpectedly, to get you to click. Without the proper stage it is hard to capture focus, imagine going to a concert where all the seats are facing each other and not the stage. The music was too quiet and all the lights were on. It would be a difficult show to enjoy.
Setting the stage means everything in the environment contributes to the show purpose. For example: - You can set up a computer desk in your room or small office in your Home. You can limit the apps on the computer and the room may only have the necessities that are required for working; you wanna remove as many of bottom up distractions possible. The best way to do this is by removing as many external cues which triggers you.
Triggers may include your cellphone, the internet, an application or even a person. Your role might be that of a good student or accountant. The show is that for studying for test or completing a client’s taxes, as a result; Stage is been properly designed to facilitate the best possible performance of the actor. The best performance requires intense focus or being in a state of flow.
Flow occurs when the individual is playing the right role, in the right show and on the right stage. Their actions are aligned with their beliefs in an environment that supports them. Being in a state of flow often describe as being in the “zone”. And it is pleasurable state for the most of the people to be in. Sadly, most people rarely have long stretched the flow in their lives. Because life is Complex, to keep this content easy and digestible. I talked about everything in singular and sequential terms.
In real life we don’t see transition from an actor to selecting a show; for setting a stage in fact you do all. they simultaneously and in veritably changes your identity as an actor. The show you pick, also affects the identity as an actor.
You are evolving, as you evolve; So, should the stage. Furthermore, you just not play one role in life but, multiple roles, in multiple shows and on the multiple stages. It is OK!!! To be not focused. Focusing is hard, because it requires a delicate and beautiful harmony between all of these parts. A lack of focus may be assigned to you, because you haven’t found the right role, the right cast, the right stage or the right show. It might be a time for a change in your life in one of these areas, perhaps it is an opportunity to be BOLD.
